x Unapologetic Fatty

I'm tired of justifying my body by being a "good fatty". I shouldn't have to tell people that I have healthy habits for my fat body to be respected. Unapologetic fatties unite!

Yesterday I took a GIANT step in self confidence and wore a dress. And I think I look pretty cute, too!
I always try to hide myself in jeans and long sleeve shirts and jackets, which isn’t the best idea when you’re living in the Deep South! But I went to Forever 21+ and found a few dresses, and I absolutely love them! They’re flattering, and they make me happy :) And that’s all that matters! I’m fat-tastic!

I hope this falls under your ‘tasteful nudes’ submission.
I’m more comfortable with my body now than I have been in my entire life.  I still have some parts of it that I wish could be different, but overall I’m learning to accept each flaw more and more.  Today I made use of the light coming through the blinds in my bedroom and took a few photos.  This one is in my fave 10 out of this impromptu photo shoot.
To be able to submit these despite my face not being shown is an accomplishment in itself.  To be able to look at it and think that it’s beautiful is also a big step.  I actually feel proud of myself. I’m happily embracing me.

hey, after seeing your reply I thought I’d submit a pic! Proud size 16-22 Aus (there’s that much difference in sizes!!) Just wanted to say that taking fatshion pics has been so great for my self esteem, i used to hate looking at pics of myself but now i can see my body as it is and be proud. My lovely GF and I take pics of each other and show the beauty we see in each other. It’s a wonderful thing. Also a tip for busty people; read up on proper bra fitting! I went from a 40H to a 34JJ and my chronic upper back pain is nearly gone. A well fitting bra makes that much difference. Keep being awesome!

A lot of thin people seem to hate the term ‘deathfat’ so I think we should start using it more

fat, thrifty, and colorful

I’ve started a ‘style’ (or anti-style) blog as a self-challenge to get to know my body more. I’ve learned that I love myself more when I know myself more, and I’ve never really gotten to know my clothed self. Please feel free to add or reblog anything (just got one on there now but more are on the way).
