This is not a conversation I took part in.
Someone sent me a screenshot of a Skype conversation they had earlier this morning with Trisbee.

It’s no secret that there is a division in the community between those who highly oppose Trisbee’s inclusion in it (fat positivity/fat acceptance) and those who do think he’s credible.

Well, here’s an open letter to those who think he has any respect for the fat women he claims to have any for. I have chosen to leave this woman anonymous but she has been awesome enough to share this with people.

Trisbee is aware she is not only uninterested in him (through past conversations) but also that she is very open about the monogamous relationship she is in. He shoots her down as uptight when clearly she is nothing but pleasant when he messaged her out of the blue. His reaction is scarily similar, if not exactly, the way “nice guys” react to rejection, although mild it really does show he has no interest in giving basic respect and only exemplifies what he hopes to get out of his own twisted brand of fat positive ally-ship.

He has a rocky past in respecting the wishes and boundaries of fat women in the community, whether it’s by not owning up to his hurtful behavior, trying to check his ‘gimme a gold star’ attitude for wanting to fuck fat women, unapologetically referring to a past sexual partner as a whale, commenting rudely about someone’s nipples, drawing women like Jackie (Juicyjacqulyn) when he knows fully that she doesn’t like him and the drawing itself made her extremely uncomfortable and ignored any plea by her to remove said image from his blog, or simply doing things like messaging a taken woman for some hopeful sexting and name calling her uptight for no apparent reason. Did he expect her to flirt with him immediately? Did he expect her to be overtly excited that he decided to message her again after such a long time? I really don’t know.

But I’m really tired of this man’s fucked up brand of body positivity to cover the only thing he cares about - fucking fat women.

Stop finding this man a positive role model in fat admiration and respect of fat women. Stop finding his blog an example of fat positivity. Wanting to fuck fat people doesn’t make you fat positive. They are not mutually exclusive. He doesn’t care about respecting us.
